Baker Hughes is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to support regional growth by engaging customers and coordinating with internal teams. The role focuses on translating needs into technically sound solutions and preparing accurate proposals, with exposure to pricing, terms, and deal reviews.

You will collaborate with engineering and leadership to drive opportunities, build relationships, and advance pipeline across a remote/territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Sales experience or customer-facing commercial experience is preferred, especially in technical/industrial settings.
• Interest in building technical acumen around industrial equipment and power transmission solutions.
• Ability to ask insightful questions, learn concepts, and translate customer needs into solutions.

• Support regional growth by expanding customer engagement and strengthening relationships.
• Advance technical sales opportunities from inquiry through proposal and order handoff.
• Translate customer requirements into clear, technically sound solutions with guidance.
• Develop customer proposals highlighting value, fit, and priorities.
• Collaborate with engineering, commercial operations, and leadership on deal reviews and risk.
• Assist with terms, pricing, and scope while balancing customer needs with business goals.
• Coordinate input from SMEs to answer technical questions and enable proposals.
• Maintain responsive, clear communication and trusted customer relationships.
• Build pipeline through target accounts and stronger outreach plans.
• Support territory development with account knowledge and activity tracking.
