Job summary

BASX is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to drive regional sales, manage reps, and expand our datacenter cooling solutions. You will develop strategies, build key account relationships, and coordinate with engineering and marketing to meet revenue goals.

The role requires strong HVAC knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to travel frequently within the region. Remote work is possible, with travel expectations clearly defined.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred.
• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in datacenter cooling HVAC or industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, applications, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable strategies.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Manage and support manufacturer representatives and distribution partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand BASX’s market presence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
• Coaches representative leaders to strengthen their businesses and results.
• Support representative sales efforts with input on account plans and sales/technical strategies.
• Provide technical product support and training to partners and customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, marketing, customer care, and AAON business unit sales leaders.
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Represent BASX at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
• Own the customer experience for representatives and customers, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
