Job summary

gaiia is hiring its first Technical Recruiter to own end-to-end technical hiring for Forward Deployed Engineer and Data Migration roles, reporting to the CEO. You will build sourcing strategies, screen high-volume pipelines, coordinate interview loops, and drive candidate offers in a fast-moving, fully remote environment.

You’ll partner with executives and engineering leaders to sharpen candidate profiles, ensure work authorization, and maintain a premium candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical recruiting with a track record in sourcing hard-to-fill roles.
• Experience closing candidates and negotiating offers.
• Proficient Boolean search and direct sourcing across multiple channels.
• Familiarity with networking, telecom, and infrastructure domains (ISP, OSS/BSS, MPLS).
• Excellent communication with candidates, hiring managers, and executives.
• English fluency; French is a bonus and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical engineering roles and expand to broader hiring.
• Build and refine Boolean search strategies; source via LinkedIn, GitHub, and networks.
• Screen profiles at high volume and conduct initial phone screens.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and maintain a high-quality candidate experience.
• Close offers in a market-calibrated compensation framework.
• Set up workflows and report funnel metrics to leadership.
