VGS is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to own a portfolio of technical roles end-to-end in a remote-first, hybrid-friendly environment. This 6-12 month contract role partners closely with engineering leaders to identify, engage, and close exceptional talent for our growing engineering organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting with a technical focus
• Experience recruiting for Software Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE or Platform Eng roles
• Experience in fast-paced startups or high-growth tech environments
• Strong sourcing skills and ability to engage passive talent
• Ability to manage multiple searches at different stages
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across multiple technical roles from kickoff to close
• Partner with Engineering leaders and hiring managers to define profiles and strategies
• Proactively source and engage highly qualified passive technical talent
• Conduct recruiter screens and assess technical alignment and fit
• Manage multiple searches and competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Create a strong candidate experience throughout the interview process
• Use data and metrics to adjust search strategies
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in the ATS
• Help improve recruiting processes and interview practices at scale
