Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Technical Product Manager (Integrated Solutions) to drive system-level integration of PRISM, NEXUS, and AIRS. You will own technical requirements, performance specs, and turnkey packaging for defense programs, partnering with hardware and software teams in Irvine/LA on a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical product management or systems engineering experience within defense, aerospace, or wireless industries.
• Strong working knowledge of wireless communications, RF systems, signal processing, SDRs, mesh networking, or EM spectrum operations.
• Ability to translate high-level military or tactical use cases into logical and structured technical requirements.
• Proven track record of influencing cross-functional engineering, operations, and sales teams without direct authority to meet release dates.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon successful clearance of a background check and drug test.
• Hands-on experience with tactical systems integration, vehicle integration, airborne payloads, marine RF installations, or multi-antenna co-location.
• Strong systems-level thinking and evaluating hardware/firmware trade-offs.
• Master's degree and familiarity with Jira/Agile.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices and managing backlogs.

Responsibilities

• Translate mission capabilities into granular technical requirements and user stories.
• Define end-to-end performance specifications and system-level trade-offs for integrated solutions (PRISM, NEXUS, AIRS).
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to deliver turnkey systems.
• Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cadences for integrated features.
• Balance schedule constraints with field expectations and customer requests.
• Oversee lifecycle and release schedules for integrated solutions from concept to deployment.
• Support sales with technical enablement to drive revenue and capture feedback for updates.
• Travel up to 25–50% for field testing and customer engagements.
