Job summary

Vertafore seeks a Technical Consultant to deliver tailored implementations for insurance clients. You will install, configure, and deploy software, work across Customer Support, Account Management, and Professional Services teams, and ensure successful project outcomes.

You will troubleshoot issues, document procedures, and provide best-practice guidance during deployment and post-deployment activities, including occasional weekend work for production support.

Qualifications

• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Technically savvy with an interest in technology and in deepening technical and software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy software solutions in customer environments according to implementation standards.
• Perform product upgrades, patches, and system migrations with minimal disruption.
• Troubleshoot installation, upgrade, and configuration issues and implement timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, product development, and customer stakeholders.
• Support multiple concurrent customer implementations while managing priorities and timelines.
• Document installation procedures, configurations, and issue resolutions for knowledge sharing.
• Provide technical guidance and best practices during implementation and post-deployment activities.
• Participate in scheduled weekend and after-hours work to support deployments and critical events.
• Escalate complex issues while maintaining ownership through resolution.
• Continuously develop product expertise and stay current on new releases and implementation methodology.
