Job summary

Vertafore is seeking a Senior Consultant, PS team, to lead complex SaaS implementation projects from kickoff through go-live. You will gather requirements, configure solutions, perform data conversions, train users, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Working knowledge of backend development systems
• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to engage and influence at all levels and manage tough conversations
• Expertise in requirement gathering techniques, documentation standards, and software implementations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation efforts for complex projects from kickoff to go-live.
• Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise SaaS implementation projects from kickoff to user acceptance testing, training, and delivery.
• Execute data conversion tasks and provide configuration consulting throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and completed.
• Work with product and engineering to incorporate customer feedback into roadmaps and prioritization.
• Translate customer needs into configurable requirements and implement them successfully.
• Write statements of work (SOWs) and participate in planning, scoping, and estimation.
• Mentor and guide other consultants to share best practices and improve performance.
• Stay up to date with industry trends related to business analysis and software development
• Adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced software development environment
