Job summary

Vertafore is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex customer implementations from initiation to successful completion. You will own project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary liaison with customers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex customer implementations with defined scope, schedule, and quality.
• Develop and execute project plans including scope, milestones, resources, risks, and financials.
• Serve as primary project leader for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and barriers; develop mitigation plans.
• Independently manage escalated customer situations and drive timely resolution.
• Provide strategic guidance by aligning business objectives with implementation strategy.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Professional Services and other groups to maintain accountability.
• Own project financial performance including budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Lead change management by evaluating impact of changes and communicating implications.
• Deliver executive-level project communications on health, risks, and financial status.
• Forecast resource needs and address capacity constraints with leadership.
• Facilitate critical decisions and drive alignment on next steps.
• Maintain knowledge of products, methodologies, and processes to guide implementations.
• Establish governance and best practices across engagements.
• Provide mentorship to project teams to strengthen PM capabilities.
• Identify recurring challenges and opportunities for process improvements.
