Job summary

Island is seeking a passionate Technical Account Manager to serve as the trusted advisor for a portfolio of enterprise customers. You will guide them from onboarding through operational maturity, translating complex features into tangible value.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support and Customer Success to ensure aligned, secure, and scalable deployments while delivering proactive guidance on releases and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical account management, solutions engineering, or post-sales technical role in software or cybersecurity.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT products, ideally SaaS or security platforms.
• Experience handling escalations, tickets, and technical project management.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable with Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, and remote collaboration tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the Trusted Advisor - guide a portfolio of Island customers from onboarding to operational maturity.
• Support & Troubleshooting - manage support cases, feature requests, and escalations; keep customers updated.
• Enablement & Training - train customer teams to deploy, manage, and operationalize Island.
• Configuration & Optimization - tailor configuration for security, performance, and usability.
• Feature & Release Guidance - inform customers about releases and new capabilities and benefits.
• Collaborate Across Teams - work with Product, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success to align on the roadmap.
