Covenant Consulting is seeking a hands-on technical account professional to support firewall solutions, embedding with a client to provide engineering, troubleshooting, and ongoing security guidance that balances technical detail with business impact.

In this remote role, you will lead cross-functional collaboration, manage multiple customer engagements, and drive adoption while pursuing certifications to stay at the forefront of cyber security technology.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in roles such as technical account management, customer engineer, solutions architect, or similar client-facing technical roles.
• 3+ years managing or architecting complex network infrastructures including router/switch-based and software-defined networks.
• Experience in client-server applications, Unix/Linux system administration, or software development with debugging, upgrades, and patches.
• At least one active technical certification (e.g., CCNA) with willingness to pursue more yearly.
• Understanding of modern software development methodologies and infrastructure design best practices.
• Proven success in customer-facing roles where communication and relationship-building were key.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical detail and customer impact.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with end-users to increase adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
• Provide project leadership for customers' major programs.
• Collaborate with Support, R&D, Product Management, and Sales to address customer needs and deliver outcomes.
• Manage customers' technical issues and projects, prioritizing efforts.
• Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the product line.
• Provide hands-on support for system health checks, user management, troubleshooting, upgrades, and monitoring.
• Balance multiple engagements and drive resolution across requests.
• Share insights with internal teams to improve products and experiences.
• Document best practices for deploying company solutions in customers' environments.
• Be a technical resource for best practices and alternative solutions.
