Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join the Private Client Services (PCS) team. This senior role oversees multiple client engagements, with leadership responsibilities in business development, mentorship, and recruitment.

Office location is flexible, with an option to be fully remote. Ideal candidates have a CPA or EA, 10+ years of tax experience with high-net-worth clients, and public accounting background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive tax experience providing tax compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals.
• 8+ years of tax compliance, specializing in complex technical individual and business returns.
• Recent public accounting experience.
• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team, manage client relationships, and coordinate with Partners in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance for ultra-high net worth individuals and families, ensuring timely federal, state, and local returns.
• Demonstrate knowledge of hedge fund K-1 treatment, trusts, estates, gifts, and charitable entities.
• Perform primary review of complex tax returns, ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
• Serve as a primary client contact, delivering proactive tax planning insights and client support.
• Monitor engagement budgets, realization, and team utilization, and mitigate risks.
• Provide coaching, training, and recruitment support to staff.
