The role emphasizes precise, clear writing and strong tax knowledge, with extensive training and equipment provided. You will work independently within a team using online systems and research databases to deliver timely guidance.

Qualifications

• Current JD or CPA certification or an appropriate/equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 or more years of professional legal or accounting experience - tax preparation or research experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to research complex tax situations and communicate results in an easily understood manner.
• Willingness to learn new information and skills and to be coached.
• Willingness to work independently and to seek assistance when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional written responses to complex tax law and procedure questions.
• Use research tools and databases to research tax law and regulatory issues.
• Work with teammates and team leads to ensure compliance with service level agreements.
• Provide best in class customer service striving to provide clear, prompt, and accurate assistance.
• Demonstrate teamwork and curious mindset.
• Maintain current tax knowledge.
