Job summary

Intuit is seeking a highly qualified tax professional to assist TurboTax customers remotely, handling tax advice, full service return preparation, and product inquiries. You will communicate via video to deliver trusted guidance and help customers complete their taxes confidently.

Ideal candidates hold an active unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Attorney) with several years of federal and state tax return experience, and can work at least 20 hours weekly. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• 2+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state individual 1040 returns for at least 30 clients per season using commercial software.
• State licenses/permits/bonds as needed.
• Active PTIN required.
• Willing to work minimum 20 hours per week.
• Knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficient with technology and computers.

Responsibilities

• Virtual, customer-facing role using video communications (Smartlook) to interact with customers.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation and signature, and product inquiries.
• Deliver high quality customer interactions with strong empathy and tax knowledge.
• Research using government sites and professional resources to provide accurate answers.
• Document customer interactions and meet KPI metrics and Big Bet Goals.
• Participate in training, tests, and cross-training activities as required.
