Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a qualified tax professional to assist TurboTax customers remotely with tax preparation and guidance. The role emphasizes expert knowledge, clear explanations, and excellent customer service via video interactions.

You will leverage government resources and internal expertise to provide accurate answers, document interactions, and maintain KPI targets while training for product and process updates as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• 2+ years of experience preparing federal and state individual 1040 returns for at least 30 clients per season.
• Must possess or be able to obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must possess an active PTIN.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficient with technology and computer operations.
• Strong customer service skills with professional video and audio communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers virtually using video communications software.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation and signature, and product inquiries.
• Document customer interactions and resolve inquiries using defined procedures.
• Meet KPI metrics and participate in pilots and training as required.
• Ensure compliance with security and company policies during tax preparation.
