Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a highly motivated tax professional with an active unrestricted credential to assist TurboTax customers remotely. You will provide expert tax guidance, prepare returns, and explain tax terms via video interactions.

You will interact with customers, use trusted resources, and ensure accuracy while meeting performance metrics. Training and development are provided, and a competitive compensation package is offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with tax preparation experience.
• 2+ years of federal and state individual 1040 tax return prep for at least 30 clients per season using commercial tax preparation software.
• Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must possess an active PTIN.
• Willing and able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills (written & spoken) a plus.
• Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• This is a virtual, customer-facing role; you will interact with customers using video communications software.
• Assist TurboTax customers with their tax returns, providing tax advice, full service preparation and signature, and product inquiries.
• Create high quality customer interactions with empathy and deep tax knowledge.
• Use government resources and team expertise to deliver accurate answers in everyday language.
• Apply company policies to troubleshoot and resolve tax-related inquiries.
• Document customer interactions for records and follow-up.
• Work toward meeting KPI metrics and Big Bet goals.
• Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations as needed.
• Complete required training and development as determined by the business.
