Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a motivated tax professional to guide TurboTax customers through federal and state returns via secure virtual assistance. You will explain tax terms, perform full service preparation, and deliver clear, friendly support to help customers prosper.

Requirements include 2+ years of 1040 experience, active PTIN, state licenses, and strong communication. You’ll work up to 20 hours weekly from home, using Intuit tools, with bonus opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state 1040 returns for at least 30 clients per season using commercial tax software.
• Must possess or be able to obtain related state licenses, permits, or bonds.
• Must have an active PTIN.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Willing and able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Proficient with technology and strong communication with customers via video/audio tools.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Virtual, customer-facing role using video communications to assist customers.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation and signature, and product inquiries.
• Create high quality interactions with deep customer empathy and expertise in tax preparation.
• Utilize resources to deliver accurate answers in everyday language.
• Apply procedures and policies to troubleshoot tax questions.
• Document customer interactions and meet KPI targets.
• Participate in pilot tests and training as required.
