This virtual, customer-facing role uses video tools to provide tax guidance, perform full-service return preparation, and answer product inquiries, all while delivering excellent service. Applicants should have 2+ years of experience preparing 1040s for many clients per season, possess PTIN, and be able to work at least 20 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent federal and state 1040 tax return prep for at least 30 clients per season
• Active PTIN or ability to obtain
• State licenses or certifications as required
• Knowledge of Circular 230
• Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Proficient with technology and computer software
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Must reside in the United States

Responsibilities

• Provide tax advice and full-service return preparation and signature for TurboTax customers
• Interact with customers via video and audio tools to create high-quality experiences
• Troubleshoot tax inquiries using government and professional resources
• Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records
• Meet KPI metrics and participate in pilots or projects as needed
• Complete required training and development per business needs
