Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a Tax Professional with 2+ years of federal/state 1040 experience to assist TurboTax customers via video guidance. You will deliver expert tax advice, complete returns, and explain terms clearly to empower customers.

This virtual role requires PTIN and compliance knowledge, with a minimum 20 hours per week, from the United States. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state 1040s for at least 30 clients per season.
• Must possess or be able to obtain state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Active PTIN required or willingness to obtain.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Proficient with technology and computer software.
• Strong customer service with professional communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking, problem solving and research skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Must have or willing to obtain a hardwired internet connection.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• This is a virtual, customer-facing role using video software to interact with customers.
• Provide tax advice, full service return preparation and signature, and product inquiries.
• Create high quality customer interactions with empathy and tax knowledge.
• Use government sites and resources to deliver correct answers in everyday language.
• Document customer interactions and meet KPI metrics.
• Participate in pilots, projects and experience validations as needed.
• Complete required training and professional development.
