Qualifications

• 0-5 years of recruiting or related HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience as a recruiter within the construction industry required.
• Ability to “talk the same language” and partner with hiring managers to understand needs, using that insight to effectively sell opportunities to candidates.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment tools and techniques, including passive recruiting, Boolean searching, and cold calling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who takes initiative to identify improvements — we're always looking for ways to be better, faster, stronger.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred) and candidate sourcing platforms.
• Eagerness to learn full-cycle recruiting practices and construction industry hiring needs in a supportive, coached environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and TA leadership to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, passive search, internal talent communities, and employee referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for open positions.
• Work with TA Coordinators, Hiring Managers, and Candidates for interview scheduling.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records in the ATS (Workday).
• Deliver a world-class candidate experience — communicate proactively and provide timely feedback.
• Forecast talent needs and help develop strategic recruiting plans.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruiting to improve processes.
