Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner for a remote, long-term contract focused on Construction Accounting/Finance recruiting. You will partner with leadership to forecast needs, source candidates across channels, screen and schedule, and ensure a strong candidate experience.

This role requires at least 5 years in recruiting within construction and comfort with Workday. You will collaborate with managers, TA leadership, and candidates to execute strategic plans, while

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience as a recruiter within the construction industry required.
• Ability to talk the same language and partner with hiring managers.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment tools and techniques including passive recruiting, Boolean searching, and cold calling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who identifies improvements and prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Familiarity with Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, passive search, internal talent communities, and referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications.
• Coordinate interviews with TA Coordinators, Hiring Managers, and candidates.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in Workday.
• Deliver a world-class candidate experience with proactive communication and timely feedback.
• Forecast talent needs with TA leadership and deploy strategic recruiting plans.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to improve processes.
