Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to drive full-cycle recruiting for our corporate unit in a remote capacity. You will collaborate with hiring managers and a TA Lead to understand staffing needs, craft effective recruiting strategies, and ensure a high-quality candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of recruiting or related HR experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience as a recruiter within the construction industry.
• Ability to partner with hiring managers to understand needs and sell opportunities to candidates.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment tools and techniques, including passive recruiting, Boolean searching, and cold calling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter who initiates improvements in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (Workday preferred).
• Eagerness to learn full-cycle recruiting practices and construction industry hiring needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and TA leadership to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, passive search, internal talent communities, and referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
• Coordinate interview scheduling with TA Coordinators, Hiring Managers, and Candidates.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in Workday.
• Deliver a world-class candidate experience with proactive communication and timely updates.
• Forecast talent needs with TA leadership and deploy strategic recruiting plans.
• Stay informed about recruiting trends to continuously improve processes.
• Learn full-cycle recruiting practices under guidance of the TA Lead.
