Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Systems Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Data Centers vertical. You will expand national and global opportunities, manage key accounts, and lead reps to win larger deals. This remote role requires 25%–30% travel within the US.

Responsibilities include evaluating market opportunities, coordinating with Sales offices, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams and ongoing field coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (Technical, Scientific, or Engineering) required.
• 5+ years of HVAC sales experience.
• Data Center experience a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC Wholesale Distribution and servicing contractor industries highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the data center market to identify HVAC opportunities.
• Support and drive solutions, programs, and offerings for vertical market growth.
• Collaborate with Sales offices and Rep organizations to grow national accounts.
• Manage pipeline in Salesforce and participate in reviews with vertical market team.
• Identify and qualify potential national accounts using established criteria.
• Participate in the National Accounts REP program and improve the process.
• Coach and train field teams in vertical market offerings and solutions.
• Represent Daikin at key marketing events and collaborate with Marketing.
