Job summary

Daikin Applied, a leading HVAC company, seeks a National Accounts Director to guide the Data Centers vertical from a remote role with travel up to 50%. You will shape strategy, lead a team, and drive profitable growth across key accounts.

Build executive relationships with C-suite leaders, coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, and product development, and partner with marketing to maximize market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Technical, Scientific, or Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in sales or business development; including 6+ years of people leadership experience.
• History of leading high-performing sales teams through periods of rapid growth in the data center sector.
• Proven ability to develop executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders across data center operators and hyperscalers.
• 5+ Years of related experience in HVAC sales.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: assess and communicate market intelligence incl. market characteristics, segmentation, trends and growth potential.
• Strategic Planning: develop and drive business strategy Data Center vertical market; provide updates to VP and leadership.
• Key Customer Planning & Execution: elevate Data Center team professionalism; scale complex solutions with field, manufacturing, and Rep leadership.
• Stakeholder Coordination: implement vertical market strategy with supply chain, manufacturing, service ops, and product development; monitor competitors.
• Marketing: collaborate with marketing on materials, trade shows, visibility; identify speaking events and opportunities.
• Team Management: lead a team of Data Center experts; grow pipeline; hire, train, and coach for performance.
