Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Systems Business Development Manager to drive incremental HVAC business in the Data Centers Vertical. This remote role involves 25–30% US travel and partnering with sales offices, reps, and national accounts to expand opportunities and pipelines.

You will lead market analysis, develop solutions, and coach field teams on vertical offerings while coordinating with marketing for events and speaker opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical, scientific, or engineering field.
• 5+ years of related HVAC sales experience.
• Data Center experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale distribution industry.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the data center market to identify HVAC opportunities.
• Support and drive solutions, programs and offerings for vertical growth.
• Coordinate with sales offices and Rep orgs to grow national accounts.
• Manage pipeline in Salesforce and participate in reviews.
• Identify and qualify National Accounts using established criteria.
• Train and coach field in delivering vertical market offerings.
