Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Systems Business Development Manager to drive incremental HVAC business in the data center vertical. This remote role involves national/global pursuit, building long-term relationships with national accounts and guiding REP/SSR teams to grow the business.

Travel 25–30% with extensive cross-functional collaboration across sales and marketing. You will evaluate data center opportunities, drive programs, manage Salesforce pipelines, and participate in strategic reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical/engineering field with 5+ years in HVAC sales.
• Data Center experience a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale distribution and servicing contractor industries.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the data center HVAC market for opportunities.
• Support solutions and programs to grow vertical market.
• Coordinate with sales offices and reps to win national accounts.
• Manage pipeline in Salesforce and participate in reviews.
• Identify and qualify potential national accounts per guidelines.
• Represent Daikin brand at key marketing events.
• Collaborate with marketing to maximize participation.
• Interface with leadership to set strategic growth focus.
