Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Systems Analyst II for a telecommuter role. The analyst will evaluate business processes, collaborate with IT and business partners, and support automation and data-driven solutions.

You will document requirements, assist in testing, and contribute to continuous improvement while operating within an Agile delivery framework. A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) years of business systems analysis experience.
• Experience with Agile delivery practices, including Scrum and SAFe.
• Knowledge of SQL for data analysis, data validation, troubleshooting, or reporting.

Responsibilities

• Represent the business within an Agile delivery team; develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders; liaise between business and IT for new system implementations and enhancements.
• Collaborate with partners to identify, refine, and document requirements as epics, features, user stories, and business rules.
• Apply business process analysis and cost-benefit techniques to evaluate solution options.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Premera systems and processes within the domain.
• Analyze current and future-state processes to identify pain points and opportunities for efficiency.
• Perform data analysis to validate requirements and support root-cause analysis.
• Support development of low-code and automation solutions to reduce manual work.
• Assist with test scenario preparation and execution and support UAT.
• Support backlog priorities and sprint planning.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
