Job summary

Premera Blue Cross in the United States is seeking a Systems Analyst II to analyze business functions, processes, and systems and recommend solutions that align with objectives. This telecommuter role supports Agile delivery, partners with IT and business stakeholders, and helps translate requirements into actionable work.

You will use data analysis, low-code and automation insights, and testing support to improve efficiency and reduce manual work, while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2) years of business systems analysis experience, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Represent the business within an Agile delivery team; develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders; engage business partners to understand and develop expertise within the aligned business domain; and act as a liaison between business and IT for new system implementations, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with business partners, IT partners, and delivery team members to identify, refine, and document requirements in the form of epics, features, user stories, use cases, business requirements, functional requirements, UI specifications, and business rules.
• Apply business process analysis and cost-benefit analysis techniques to evaluate solution options and support business decision-making.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Premera systems, applications, and business processes within the aligned domain.
• Analyze and document current and future-state business processes to identify pain points, risks, and opportunities for operational efficiencies through technology solutions.
