Job summary

Premera Blue Cross is seeking a Systems Analyst II to analyze business functions and processes, surface solution options, and collaborate with IT and business partners. This telecommuter role focuses on automation, data analysis, and continuous improvement within the healthcare domain.

You will work with Agile teams to document requirements, develop test plans, and support end-user testing, while contributing to backlog prioritization and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 2+ years of business systems analysis, including requirements gathering and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Represent the business within an Agile team; liaise with stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and business partners to define epics, features, and user stories.
• Apply cost-benefit analyses to evaluate options and support decisions.
• Develop knowledge of Premera systems and processes in the aligned domain.
• Document current and future-state processes to identify pain points and improvements.
• Perform data analysis, validate requirements, and support testing and UAT.
• Support low-code and automation initiatives to reduce manual work.
