Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Support Specialist to provide application support to customers and internal teams. You will handle complex questions, contribute to our knowledge base, and serve as a liaison between customers and Development.

Responsibilities include resolving client issues, documenting steps, and creating training for users on product functionality. Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and Crystal Reports is a plus; a remote/home-office setup is acceptable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a Customer Service role.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly.
• Typing skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment.
• Professional and friendly attitude with customers over the phone.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support to customers and internal resources; investigate, manage, track, and close client issues.
• Assess software configurations and setups to identify resolutions or escalate as needed.
• Document processes and report details in the client tracking system; contribute to knowledge base.
• Deliver training to customers on functionality and best practices; participate in user conferences.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to document enhancements and resolve defects.
• Work with Account Managers to process and track contracted services.
• Review support processes and documentation for continuous improvement.
