Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Program Supplier Assurance Engineer (PSQE) to serve as the primary quality interface between Raytheon programs and supplier teams. The role involves on-site supplier assessments, First Article Inspection verification, and continuous improvement activities at supplier locations.

This position is remote with required visits to supplier facilities and 50% travel to Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and other Midwest states. A DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM).
• Experience with quality engineering, manufacturing, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of quality management standards such as ISO 9001/AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flow down of product requirements to internal and supplier teams.
• Explain requirements to suppliers to ensure compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma and Lean methods.
• Apply APQP processes to supplier performance and engagements.
• Analyze defect data and develop supplier improvement plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams in problem resolution.
