Job summary

RTX's Andover, MA team is seeking a Program Supplier Assurance Engineer (PSQE) who serves as the primary quality interface with Raytheon programs and the supplier base. The role includes onsite supplier assessments, First Article inspection verification, and problem resolution to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, apply APQP and Six Sigma tools, analyze defect data, and develop supplier improvement plans. U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM).
• 5 years’ relevant experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102, AS9103, AS9145, or MDA Assurance Provisions.
• Experience interpreting schematic drawings and hardware inspection techniques.
• Experience with SPC, APQP, and continuous improvement in a supplier setting.
• Experience presenting briefs to leadership and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flow down of product requirements to internal and sub-tier suppliers.
• Interpret and explain requirements to ensure understanding and compliance by suppliers.
• Drive continuous product/process improvements using Six Sigma and Lean methods.
• Apply APQP processes related to supplier performance and engagements.
• Perform defect data analysis with program managers and supplier management.
• Lead multi-functional teams in problem resolution and continuous improvement.
• Identify supplier risk and develop mitigation plans.
• Support containment activities for discrepant material with stakeholders.
• Drive supplier corrective action processes and monitor closure.
• Represent quality during review boards for supplier design changes and tests.
• Travel up to 25% to support supplier assessments.
