Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Program Supplier Assurance Engineer (PSQE) to act as the primary quality interface between Raytheon programs and supplier assurance teams. The role involves supplier assessments, first article inspection, source inspection, and continuous improvement at supplier locations.

It is remote, with required visits to supplier facilities and 50% travel to MI/WI/OH and other states. The position requires a STEM degree with experience in quality, APQP, Six Sigma, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with quality management standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, AS9102, AS9103, AS9145 or MDA Assurance Provisions.
• Experience interpreting schematic drawings and hardware inspection techniques.
• Experience implementing SPC, APQP and Continuous Improvement in supplier settings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flow down of product requirements to internal teams and sub-tier suppliers.
• Explain requirements to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Drive continuous product/process improvements using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
• Apply APQP processes to supplier performance and engagements.
• Lead cross-functional teams in problem resolution and continuous improvement.
