Job summary

Lumicera is seeking a Supervisor for Specialty Pharmacy Support Services to lead a team of Reimbursement or Intake Specialists. You will manage daily operations, monitor performance, and drive workflow while partnering with the Associate Manager to establish policies and improve processes.

You will participate in hiring and training, ensure adherence to attendance and corporate policies, and help maintain high customer service levels and timely turnarounds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• CPhT certificate required when overseeing Intake Specialists.
• 2-5 years’ experience, previous experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel.
• Strong knowledge of current pharmacy regulations.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor staff and day to day workflow. Develop employee’s skills, evaluate performance, and provide feedback.
• Develop, track, and monitor employee’s compliance to quality, service, and production standards.
• Monitor task turnaround time so that internal standards and client performance guarantees are met.
• Assist in monitoring costs to ensure compliance with cost goals.
• Address staff concerns and day to day operational, system, customer service, quality, and professional issues.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

CPhT certification (required when overseeing Intake Specialists)

2-5 years’ experience in a pharmacy setting

Proficient knowledge of current pharmacy regulations
