Job summary

Lumicera Health Services seeks a Supervisor, Patient Care to lead and support Patient Care Assistant staff, ensuring daily workloads align with scheduling goals and quality standards. You will drive training, performance metrics, and timely communication across the team to deliver superior service.

This role requires coordinating with pharmacists and support teams, monitoring adherence to HIPAA, and guiding staff through changes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in managed care, specialty pharmacy, or PBM environment.
• Experience in a call center environment is a plus.
• Direct leadership or coaching experience preferred.
• Pharmacy claim/benefit experience preferred.
• HIPAA and data privacy practices knowledge preferred.
• Ability to interact cooperatively with staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Patient Care Assistant staff daily.
• Ensure workload standards and workflows meet goals.
• Identify and remove barriers to achieve goals.
• Review client transitions and volume changes; ensure resources are clear.
• Share information promptly and verify staff understanding.
• Coach, motivate and develop staff to achieve results.
• Manage disciplinary processes per policy.
• Maintain training records and performance feedback.
• Coordinate with hiring/temp agencies and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy processing software and related tools.
