Job summary

Lumicera Health Services seeks a Supervisor, Patient Care (SPC) to lead the Patient Care Assistant staff and ensure service levels and performance metrics are met. The role focuses on disseminating information, monitoring workflows, and driving improvements across the department.

The SPC will coordinate training, manage disciplinary steps, and maintain knowledge of pharmacy processing software andLumicera systems while supporting interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree preferred
• 2 years' experience in managed care, specialty pharmacy, customer service, or PBM environment
• Call center experience preferred
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred
• Pharmacy claim/benefit experience preferred
• HIPAA and data privacy knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily workload standards are met and direct staff accordingly
• Identify and remove barriers to achieve goals
• Review client transitions and changes in volume with clear scripting/resources
• Share information timely to staff
• Ensure staff comprehension through feedback/observation
• Lead day-to-day department staff, set quality metrics
• Perform quality monitoring of staff
• Facilitate training and development
• Manage disciplinary process per policies
• Document training, reviews, and feedback with Specialists
• Coach and develop staff for outstanding results
• Coordinate with hiring/temp agencies
• Escalate call/department issues promptly
• Triage service/technical issues to resolution
• Coordinate pharmacist triage as appropriate
• Keep resources current and clear
• Maintain pharmacy processing and scheduling systems
• Travel up to 5%
• Other duties as assigned
