Job summary

Lumicera Health Services seeks a Supervisor, Patient Care to lead and support the Patient Care Assistant staff. You will ensure workload standards, remove barriers, and share timely information across the team, while coaching staff to deliver high-quality service.

The role involves monitoring quality metrics, conducting training, and coordinating with staffing agencies. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• CPhT preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in a managed care, specialty pharmacy, customer service, or PBM environment.
• Experience in a call center environment preferred.
• Direct leadership or coaching / mentoring experience preferred.
• Pharmacy Claim / benefit experience preferred.
• HIPAA and data privacy practices knowledge preferred.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Patient Care staff on a daily basis.
• Identify and remove barriers to goals.
• Review client transitions and changes in volume; ensure scripting and resources are clear.
• Ensure information impacting staff is shared timely and effectively.
• Ensure staff comprehension by feedback or observation.
• Coach, motivate and develop staff to produce outstanding results.
• Coordinate with hiring/temp agencies.
• Escalate calls and department issues as needed.
• Triage service and technical issues to resolution and educate staff on causes/resolutions.
• Maintain resources and knowledge of systems used by the department.
• Travel up to 5% of the time.
