Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Supervisor, Patient Care (SPC) to lead and support our Patient Care Assistants, ensuring workflow, coaching, and timely information sharing across the team.

This role focuses on meeting performance metrics, managing training, and coordinating with pharmacy staff and external agencies. Travel up to 5% and a strong foundation in HIPAA and privacy practices are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional degrees preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in managed care, specialty pharmacy, customer service, or PBM.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Direct leadership or coaching experience preferred.
• Pharmacy Claim / benefit experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy practices preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and support of Patient Care staff.
• Disseminate information through proper channels and ensure staff comprehension.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement changes as needed.
• Coach, motivate, and develop staff to achieve outstanding results.
• Manage disciplinary process per department policies.
• Maintain records of training, reviews, and feedback with Specialists.
• Coordinate with hiring/temp agencies and act as escalation resource.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacy processing software and related tools.
