Atwell, LLC is seeking a Senior Substation Design Engineer for a remote role. The position oversees detailed design packages including one-line and three-line diagrams, bus configurations, and equipment selection for high and extra-high voltage substations.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage budgeting, schedules, and risk, and ensure quality and compliance with NEC/NESC/IEEE standards. Collaborating with Directors, you will forecast workloads, develop estimates to complete hours, and

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or civil engineering from an accredited institution.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees a team producing detailed design packages for substations and related structures.
• Manages project planning, scheduling, and coordination between disciplines to ensure efficiency.
• Develops workload forecasting with Directors and maintains an active project list and ETC hours.
• Maintains ownership of project portfolio, planning, and team performance improvements.
• Oversees weekly budgets and tracks project finances for fiscal responsibility.
• Guides adherence to NEI processes, standards, and client requirements.
