Post University is seeking a Student Success Advisor to support online and regional students through counseling, coaching, and proactive outreach. You will build trusting relationships, guide academic progress, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure student success.

The role emphasizes communication, technology use, and a student-first mindset. The position offers a remote work option with structured training, a typical weekday schedule, and a focus on retention and graduation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Engaging and dynamic phone presence.
• Excellent email communication skills: clear and concise writing Ability required.
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team.
• Energetic and goal-oriented with multitasking ability.
• Dedicated to student success and responsive to students and colleagues.
• Able to learn and use Blackboard, CRM/CNS, Microsoft Office products.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain steady contact with a student caseload.

Responsibilities

• Proactively develop and maintain a positive, supportive relationship with students.
• Communicate with students to keep them connected and engaged in their first term.
• Leverage university tech to enhance student relationships.
• Communicate by phone and email to respond promptly and professionally.
• Advocate student needs across departments and manage a student caseload.
• Track and assess student progress using university systems and report metrics.
• Identify barriers to academic success and develop retention solutions.
• Train students on university systems (e.g., Web Registration and Blackboard).
• Provide guidance on academic progress, course selection, and degree choices.
