Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Strategic Segment Proposal Engineer to develop technical and commercial proposals for ABB Electrification’s focused industry segments.

You will work with SAMs to drive ITO functions emphasizing high-probability, high-profitability projects and require in-depth understanding of ABB products. The role is remote in the United States, with travel up to 2–3 times a year and reporting to Sales Support Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical distribution with sales and project quotations.
• Deep technical knowledge of ABB electrical distribution product portfolio and configuration tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SAMs and Strategic Customers to understand CTQ factors for growth.
• Organize and lead deal strategy and pricing discussions with internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to developing innovative solutions leveraging ABB Electrification's portfolio.
• Evaluate project risks and coordinate with leadership and risk management.
