ABB Inc. is seeking a Strategic Segment Proposal Engineer to develop technical and commercial proposals for focused industry segments such as data centers and critical manufacturing facilities.

You will collaborate with SAMs to drive ITO functions, ensuring high-probability, high-profitability projects and robust risk assessment across ABB Electrification U.S. The role is remote, with occasional travel to client sites.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical distribution or related industry; minimum 5 years in sales and project quotations.
• Deep technical knowledge of ABB electrical distribution product portfolio, and ABB empower.
• Experience working with EPC, industrial, or data center end users on large scale projects.
• Experience with global and local cross functional teams and senior management.
• Ability to leverage Outlook, Salesforce.com, and Teams to stay organized remotely.
• Ability to travel up to 2-3 times a year.
• Candidates must already have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

• Collaborating with SAMs and Strategic Customers to understand CTQ factors essential for growth.
• Organizing and lead deal strategy and pricing discussions with internal stakeholders.
• Contributing to development of innovative solutions leveraging ABB's portfolio; propose alternatives to reduce costs and increase profitability.
• Evaluating project risk triggers and coordinating risk reviews with leadership.
