Job summary

Jerry.ai is hiring a Strategic Finance Manager reporting to the VP of Finance to own the operating model, planning cadence, and spend discipline. You will partner with product, marketing, and sales leadership and work closely with the CFO and founders to translate data into clear business insights for decision making.

You have 4+ years in finance, FP&A, or related roles, strong financial modeling skills, and experience with unit economics in consumer businesses.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A, or corporate development.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a quantitative field.
• Strong financial modeling skills and driver-based operating models.
• Experience with unit economics in consumer/marketplace businesses (CAC, LTV, payback).
• Startup or high-growth experience preferred; ability to build processes from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating model for base business and new lines; lead planning cadence and variance analysis.
• Run annual budget and long-range planning end-to-end with stakeholder inputs.
• Lead monthly/quarterly forecasts and explain variances to executives.
• Write executive narratives translating results into clear business insights for CFO/ founders.
• Lead monthly business reviews and partner with leaders to drive decisions.
• Evaluate and implement a planning system; own rollout.
