Jerry.ai seeks a Strategic Finance Manager to own the operating model, planning cadence, and spend discipline as we expand into new markets and product lines. You will partner with leaders, CFO, and founders to deliver accountable forecasts and executive-ready insights.

You will lead the budgeting process, develop driver-based models, and evaluate opportunities with strong financial rationale, including CAC, LTV, and payback dynamics. This role supports growth with rigorous analytics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience combining investment banking/corporate development with strategic finance at a high-growth company.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar quantitative field.
• Strong financial modeling skills: driver-based operating models, three-statement mechanics, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Experience with unit economics in consumer or marketplace business, including CAC, LTV, payback, cohort retention, and contribution margin.
• Track record of translating complex analysis into a clear narrative for executive or investor audiences.
• Startup or high-growth experience; building financial processes from scratch.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools for analysis, research, and workflow automation.
• Nice to have: Insurance/insurtech/fintech or marketplace experience; CFA; vendor negotiation; finance tech stack experience (NetSuite, Ramp).

Responsibilities

• Own the operating model and forecast cycle for base business and new lines.
• Run annual budget and long-range planning end-to-end with cadence and assumptions.
• Own monthly and quarterly forecast cycle and variance analysis; explain movements and implications.
• Write executive narratives for CFO, founders, board, and investors.
• Lead monthly business reviews and translate numbers into business decisions.
• Evaluate and implement planning systems; make recommendations and roll out.
• Build financial case for new opportunities; size market and model economics.
