Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will assist in field trials, demonstrations, and network design across tactical environments, coordinating with Applications Engineering and Business Development teams.

The role includes up to 50% travel, potential for 100% remote work depending on location, and requires a Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of demonstrated experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant technical or defense experience.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), IP-based routing protocols, or tactical communication systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Security Clearance: Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
• Citizen due to clients under U.S. Practical experience with TCP/IP networking, Linux environments, or scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++) for test automation.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
• Outdoor environment for large-scale field trials and tactical demonstrations.
• Lift equipment up to 50 lbs. for the set-up of complex tactical network demonstrations and testing.

Mansioni

• Assist in analyzing USSOCOM capability gaps and SOF-peculiar communications requirements.
• Support technical planning, network configuration, and live-on-the-air execution of field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate to verify that proposed architectures are technically sound through testing and benchmarking.
• Align work with strategic priorities and support Business Development with technical needs.
• Build and present technical demonstrations for USSOCOM and component commands.
