Job summary

Boyd is seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join our sales team and drive revenue growth. The role focuses on identifying new customers within manufacturing, expanding into new markets, building relationships, and educating customers on Boyd’s capabilities.

You will report to the VP of Sales and collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations to align initiatives and improve sales performance across segments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 4–5 years related experience or equivalent combination in a technical selling role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and negotiate.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and focus on driving growth.
• Experience with CRM software and other sales tools to track performance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding into new markets and industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations to support sales initiatives.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback for growth opportunities.
• Travel as needed, including international, to develop opportunities.
• Engage with customers on commercial topics including credit, terms, and negotiations.
• Use Salesforce CRM to capture opportunities and maintain updates.
