Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Business Development Lead for Clinical Solutions and Licensing to drive AI-enabled licensing and clinical solution collaborations. This role 임ines partnerships, licensing strategy, and complex negotiations to expand the organization's science adoption in healthcare workflows.

You will work across product, science, legal, finance, and technology to balance mission impact with revenue growth, while leading cross-functional teams and ensuring successful

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years in healthcare technology, digital health, or related licensing roles.
• Experience negotiating complex enterprise agreements and managing senior partner relationships.
• Ability to develop commercial strategies balancing near-term revenue with long-term value.
• Experience working across legal, finance, product, technology and clinical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute an integrated AI licensing and clinical solutions strategy for clinician-facing platforms and EHR ecosystems.
• Identify and develop strategic relationships, building a pipeline based on clinical relevance and commercial potential.
• Lead negotiations for complex licensing agreements including scope, pricing, reporting and renewal terms.
• Structure relationships beyond licensing fees for distribution, marketing, and joint development opportunities.
• Collaborate with legal, science, and stakeholders to protect IP and ensure appropriate AI use and attribution.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to advance approvals, support implementation, and ensure partner adoption.
• Partner with product and technology leaders on scalable content delivery and AI standards.
• Establish partner reporting and performance measures for revenue, reach, and engagement.
• Lead executive partner relationships and opportunities to deepen collaboration and portfolio growth.
• Oversee customer success for onboarding, renewals, and account expansion.
• Monitor AI-enabled healthcare developments and adapt strategy accordingly.
