Job summary

UNFI in Asheville, NC seeks a Manager Account to lead strategic sales planning and account management for assigned chain or independent accounts. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include developing joint business plans, forecasting profit, and maintaining partnerships with vendors and trade partners. Remote/hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience preferred.
• Understanding and knowledge of products.
• Development and execution of business plans and promotions.
• Familiarity with sales opportunities.
• Understanding of forecasting, promotions, and margins.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales plans and goals to increase sales, profit margin, and minimize expenses.
• Develop joint business plans.
• Identify and manage new sales opportunities and servicing of existing accounts.
• Forecast profit, volume growth, and related goals; assist with sales budget.
• Bridge between Sales and Ops to resolve customer issues.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve account goals.
