Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical university.
• 5–8 years of selling experience with a major storage company (e.g., Dell/EMC, Pure, NetApp).
• Hands-on expertise in pitching, demos, and architecting complex solutions.
• Deep knowledge of virtualization and at least 2 application stacks (MSSQL, Oracle, SAP).
• Working knowledge of one major public cloud (AWS/Azure/Google) – certifications preferred.
• Expert in selling data lifecycle management portfolio – block, file, backup, ransomware protection & others.
• Deep knowledge of at least 1 major storage vendor.
• Deep expertise in storage industry trends and verticals (FSI, manufacturing, Healthcare).
• Self-starter with fast ramp-up capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Gathers customer needs and translates them into an overall technical solution.
• Collaborates with account teams to communicate value propositions and negotiate points.
• Delivers compelling presentations linking technical features to business benefits.
• Expands Hewlett Packard Enterprise footprint with new technologies and upgrades.
• Maintains accurate pipeline information and movement of deals toward close.
• Facilitates smooth transition from sales to implementation and identifies training needs.
