Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Presales Storage Architect focusing on unstructured workloads and hybrid cloud storage. The role involves designing scalable file and object storage solutions, leading POCs, and guiding AI-driven data workflows including RAG architectures.

This is a remote/teleworker position with extensive travel to engage customers, partners, and internal teams. Requires strong collaboration with product teams and a deep understanding of AI-enabled storage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience designing unstructured storage solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Strong customer-facing experience with technical solution design and delivery.
• Proven expertise with file protocols NFS, SMB, and S3.
• Solid understanding of object storage technologies and APIs.
• Experience planning and executing POCs.
• Hands-on with AI data pipelines including inferencing and RAG.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Architect and document enterprise-grade file and object storage solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Lead and execute POCs to evaluate performance and integration across platforms.
• Design storage architectures that support AI and data processing workloads (inference and RAG).
• Collaborate with product management to translate requirements into roadmap.
• Provide thought leadership and competitive analysis for stakeholders.
• Present technical solutions to executive and technical audiences.
• Maintain knowledge of unstructured storage trends and cloud storage integration.
• Support pre-sales engagements and RFIs/RFPs with best practices.
