Job summary

Pitney Bowes is seeking a remote-based State & Local Government Account Specialist to maintain client relationships, manage AR and account cleansing, and support growth initiatives. This role focuses on accurate invoicing, portal billing, and data integrity while collaborating with Sales and internal teams to drive client success.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in client services, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in EST/CST time zones.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of client service experience.
• Experience with billing reconciliation and/or collections is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for state and local government clients.
• Prepare and submit accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
• Manage portal billing activities and adhere to client requirements.
• Perform account maintenance and data cleansing across systems.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional client support.
• Meet KPI and productivity targets and prioritize daily workload.
• Assist with contract review and onboarding for new clients.
• Act as escalation point for client issues and provide ad hoc support.
